The Montgomery County Planning Board does much of its work on the new White Flint Sector Plan in worksessions organized around a specific topic. The next worksession, scheduled for Thursday, April 23, will include a wrap-up of proposals for land use (developers’ and residents’) and decisions on siting a new school and MARC commuter rail station.
The Planning Staff has now put its worksession memo on-line. It’s in three parts, and includes some important information, such as responses to various questions raised by the developer and resident presentations, recommendation that the school be sited at the White Flint Mall/White Flint Plaza (Combined Properties) location, and a recommendation that the MARC station be sited on the northern (Montouri) properties.
