Tough market for condos in White Flint

Yesterday’s Gazette newspaper had an article addressing the sagging real estate market in the White Flint area. A “seller’s market,” the article announced.

But not everyone is buying . . . the idea that this market will continue. The article also quotes observers who predict that the current glut will evaporate within two years, and that White Flint will need even more residences on the market. One optimist was Friends of White Flint Treasurer Greg Trimmer, a member of the FoWF Board from the Property Owners/Developers class; Trimmer says that his new building, rising across Rockville Pike from White Flint Mall, is unique enough to sell even in this tough market.
