The Montgomery County Council is considering legislation to finance the infrastructure needed to pay for the White Flint Sector Plan. The Council will hold a public hearing on the legislation on Tuesday, Oct. 26.
Friends of White Flint uses a policy development process which is open to the public. FoWF intends to provide testimony and a report to the Montgomery County Council as part of the Oct. 26 public hearings.
FoWF will hold a Board of Directors meeting to develop this policy and testimony. The meeting will be held on Monday, October 18, at 4:30PM at the offices of Federal Realty Investment Trust, 1626 E. Jefferson, Rockville. The meeting should end by 6PM. All persons, whether members of FoWF or not, are welcome to participate. Our meeting discussions generally are not limited to FoWF Directors, and some are . . . quite lively (though you might not detect that in the photo below).
Following the FoWF meeting, the White Flint Partnership will hold a dinner and discussion on White Flint financing, also at Federal Realty. In order to attend the dinner, you MUST RSVP to Evan Goldman, 301-998-8375. Details on the dinner or Partnership event should also go to Evan.
