White Flint: “Open for Business”

On July 22, 2011, the Montgomery County Council and the Montgomery County Planning Board joined with activists who supported the White Flint Sector Plan, property owners and businesspeople from across the area at the White Flint Mall to celebrate passage of the final piece of legislation necessary for new projects to move forward. The ceremony, led by Councilmember Roger Berliner and Planning Board Chair Francoise Carrier, ended with the cutting of a red ribbon.
