Transportation funding is the hot button issue engaging lawmakers of late.  They’ve had a summit in Annapolis and are considering various ways to raise revenue but no solutions have yet been agreed upon.  It looks like lots of options are on the table – read more at Bethesda Now: http://www.bethesdanow.com/2013/01/17/county-council-searches-for-transportation-funding-options/.

What makes a neighborhood hip? More of a Public Commons! More places to meet, play, hang out. Love the ice rink right now at Rockville Town Center, and the serenity and fun of the same space on sunny Friday afternoons, when the kids come out of school, little ones and their caregivers play around, waiting for the parents.
Such easy-going open, public spaces can add that extra magic, that I want to be there, as a destination. Like the free movie screenings at the Strathmore etc.
Looking forward to the new space.
