The morning after the White Flint Implementation Committee next meets, another advisory body will get together to discuss White Flint. The White Flint Downtown Advisory Committee was established by the County Executive and is comprised of representatives from commercial real estate owners, business owners and residents. It also includes members from the Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce, the Western Montgomery County Citizens Advisory Board and non-voting members representing the County Executive’s office, County Council and the North Bethesda Transportation Management District.
Tasked with advising county departments on necessary public services, coordinating community placemaking, advancing walkability and business interests, the Committee has a goal of recommending the feasibility and timing for the establishment of a White Flint Urban District.
Open to the public, the meeting will be on Tuesday April 9th at 8am at the Bethesda North Conference Center.
