9/11 Memorial Stair Climb Returning to White Flint

Next month, local firefighters will honor their fallen brothers with the Third Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb.  In remembrance of the  343 firefighters and 71 law enforcement personnel who perished at the 110-story World Trade Center, all are invited to challenge themselves by climbing 110 stories at North Bethesda Market on Saturday, October 12th at 9am.

Local firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel and all those who appreciate them are invited to participate.  Many firefighters will complete the challenge as their fallen brethren did – in full protective gear.

The $25 registration fee will benefit the charitable work of the International Association of Fire Fighters, including their Disaster Relief Fund, Burn Fund, and Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial Fund.  Learn more below and visit their Facebook page for photos from previous, inspiring events!
