Rapid Transit Presentation in Bethesda On April 30th



Communities for Transit, the Coalition for Smarter Growth, and Bethesda Green are sponsoring a public meeting on the Bus Rapid Transit system planned for Montgomery County on Wednesday, April 30th. The meeting will include a presentation and time for questions from the public. The event is free and open to the public and will take place at Bethesda Green, 4825 Cordell Avenue, #200 from 7:00-8:30 pm.

The BRT system planned for the county includes a route on MD 355, the main commuting route through Rockville, White Flint, and Bethesda. For more information the BRT system, click here.

Rebecca Hertz


Rebecca Hertz is the Assistant Executive Director of Friends of White Flint. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in International Development and Social Change from Clark University, Worcester Massachusetts in 2012. She completed her Master’s Degree from Clark University, as well, in Community Development and Planning in 2013. She is interested in how built environments impact the health and growth of communities. Prior to this role, she worked as a youth worker and mentor for several non-profit organizations in Maryland and Massachusetts. She grew up in Rockville, MD and has recently moved back to the region.
