We’ll miss you, Evan

It is with great sadness that we announce that Evan Goldman, one of the godfathers of the White Flint sector plan, has left Federal Realty and the Friends of White Flint board.  Evan will now be working with Bethesda-based developer EYA.

In many ways, the Pike District exists because of Evan’s passion, vision, and perseverance. We will miss Evan greatly, and we hope that he finds a way to involve his new company in Friends of White Flint and in the Pike District.

Please see an extensive article about Evan’s job change here.

Evan deserves the honorary title of “Town Founder”, the highest honor a developer can attain. One hundred years ago, statues were raised for town founders. That will happen again in the future as we build great walkable urban places and Evan should be considered if that should happen in the Pike District.
