There are two important upcoming meetings in which you might want to participate. If you want to have input into the creation of the White Flint 2 Sector Plan and learn more about the many upcoming transportation projects in the White Flint 1 sector, these are the meetings to attend. (Friends of White Flint will be there, of course, and we’ll advocate at the meetings and report via our blog what transpired at the meetings.)
A public meeting on the White Flint 2 Sector Plan will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 7 – 9 p.m.
You are invited to the next White Flint 2 (WF2) Sector Plan community meeting, scheduled for Wednesday October 14, 2015 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Luxmanor Elementary School, 6201 Tilden Lane, Bethesda.
The meeting will begin with a staff presentation from Montgomery Planning and then break into small group work tables, where we will examine and discuss various plan elements including: land use and density; connectivity; public facilities; and open spaces within theWF2 Sector Plan area.…Read More
It is with great sadness that we announce that Evan Goldman, one of the godfathers of the White Flint sector plan, has left Federal Realty and the Friends of White Flint board. Evan will now be working with Bethesda-based developer EYA.
