A SafeTrack Surge is Coming to the Pike District Next Month

WMATA’s SafeTrack Surge August 9-18

Shady Grove to Twinbrook

Red Line trains will continuously single track between Shady Grove and Twinbrook from August 9 through August 18, 2016.

Trains will serve Shady Grove and Rockville stations every 18 minutes (regularly every 6 minutes during rush hour)

All other Red Line stations will have near-normal service

Customers are encouraged to avoid Shady Grove and Rockville if possible; use Twinbrook, White Flint or Grosvenor instead
