We were thrilled that fifty … yes, fifty! … people turned our for our first Walkable Wednesday. The Coalition for Smarter Growth and Friends of White Flint discussed relatively easy-to-execute, relatively inexpensive ways we can make the Pike District safer and more convenient for pedestrians. During the tour, we also pointed out the big and little things that make an area more … or less …walkable. Everyone had a terrific time learning about walkability and most participants asked how they could advocate to make the Pike District as walkable as possible as quickly as possible.

Join us for our next Walkable Wednesday, July 12 at noon which is part of our Pike District Pedestrian Safety Campaign.
