Old Pike and Rose had a farm. Ee-I-ee-I-oh

As reported on Robert Dyer’s blog, WTOP and Bethesda Beat

Up Top Acres, the urban farming company that brought a 7,000 square foot farm to above Equinox a Bethesda Row and two rooftop farms near Nationals Park, will bring a 17,000 square foot farm Pike & Rose this April. The farm will be located on top of the Old Georgetown Road Garage next to Pallas and will grow about 20,000 pounds of produce annually, including veggies, herbs, and flowers.

Produce grown at the Farm at Pike & Rose will be distributed through a Farm Membership Program, where Up Top customers can become members and pick up a share of $25 worth of produce each week. Additional produce will be sold to nearby restaurants.
