Guardian Realty Investors shared its plans last night for its property at 6000 Executive Boulevard on the corner of Old Georgetown Road and Executive Boulevard. The property is about 6.8 acres. This property was rezoned to Commercial-Residential in the recently passed White Flint 2 Sector Plan. Guardian plans to add to the current office building and transform this property into stunning residential and office space.
The first phase of construction will be building A, a 131-unit active adult residential community. (That’s the first over-55 building in the Pike District.) Building B will be built in phase two and will be a multi-family residential building of approximately 191 units. Phase two also includes an urban plaza. The final phase will be building C, a signature office building with ground floor retail. There will also be a ped-bike path along the creek at the southern edge of the property as well as interior streets to create a grid.
As you can see, the sketch plan shows a modern, open feel that complements Pike and Rose and Gables, its neighbors. The highest heights are on Executive and the lowest heights abut the houses in Luxmanor. There will be a fifty-foot set back between the active adult building and the neighborhood of Luxmanor.
