Check out these photos of the brand new path between the Market Street/ the Conference Center and Pike and Rose. We are so excited to use this new walkway — the grid of the White Flint/Pike District continues to grow and make our neighborhood better!

It’s convenient but not exactly the most attractive pathway I’ve seen.

That looks scary… I wouldn’t want to be there, esp after dark. Barbwire is missing for completeness.

I assume, it’s pedestrian only – no bikes?

What was the purpose of this?

It’s for bikes and peds. It’s a much needed cutthrough. The fencing is there because there will be demolition and construction around it.

This walkway is much needed. With all the construction, the sidewalk on Executive near OGR has often been blocked or “detoured”. I’ve been looking for a safer way through the properties. This is placed right where I decided to try the next time I walk that way. I’m betting it’s temporary because in some county plans that’s where the new Executive is supposed to end. Temporary or not, it does need lights.
