1) Enjoy a Jump & Jive Camp this summer at Friends of White Flint member at Avant Garde Ballroom, the recipient of the Top Local Studio Award at the Maryland DanceSport Championships.

2) Dave & Buster’s lost their appeal yesterday against White Flint Mall as the U.S. Court of Appeals rules that the mall had the right to evict them last year.

According to a story in Bethesda Beat, Robert Brewer, a land use attorney representing White Flint Mall’s owners, said Thursday the owners expect to receive demolition permits to take down the mall’s exterior in the next week or two. The owners plan to begin the demolition as soon as they receive the permits, according to Brewer.  …

A spokeswoman for P.F. Chang’s announced that P.F. Chang’s restaurant in White Flint Mall will close January 4th, 2015. Once P.F. Chang’s closes, Lord & Taylor will be the only store remaining in the mall.

Lerner Enterprises and The Tower Companies, owners of the White Flint Mall property, plan to redevelop the property into a mixed-use development.…

Dave & Buster’s Ordered out of White Flint Mall

We learned yesterday that Dave & Buster’s has lost its battle to stay open in its existing White Flint Mall location.  Their lawsuit against the mall was dismissed and they were ordered to vacate the premises within 30 days – no word yet on when they’ll close.
