I can’t find a listing anywhere of the members of the new White Flint Steering Committee (which was appointed to replace the former, much larger White Flint Sector Plan Advisory Group). So here is a list:

On Thanksgiving Day, we lost a friend and colleague: Marion Clark.

Marion was the facilitator for some of our neighborhood discussions, and was the staff member responsible for many of the “green” issues: green buildings, tree cover, permeability and so on. She was also a friendly and generous person, and I will miss her.…

The Planning Board has released the latest draft of the White Flint Sector Plan for review prior to the beginning of public hearings (first hearing is January 12, 2009, in Silver Spring). The draft is available in two formats — the Planning Board’s proprietary viewer, and in Adobe .pdf format (requires freely-available Adobe Reader):
