White Flint Plan “Poised to Pass”
Today’s Gazette newspaper has an article on the upcoming Montgomery County Council vote on approval of the White Flint Sector Plan. Councilmember Roger Berliner told the Gazette: “You have an area now that has far too much asphalt, a Pike that is unattractive and impossible to cross, and the opportunity to create a grand boulevard with more mass transit and a livable, walkable, vibrant community, and doing all that while protecting surrounding neighborhoods.”

The Council vote is scheduled for next Tuesday, March 23, at the County Council Building in Rockville.
