If so, then come learn about the Zoning Rewrite Project from the Montgomery County Planning Department at one of the following open houses:

- May 5 (6-8pm) UpCounty Regional Services Center 12900 Middlebrook Rd, Germantown
- May 6 (6-8pm) B-CC Regional Services Center 4805 Edgemoor Ln, Bethesda
According to the Planning website, “[t]he zoning code has not been comprehensively rewritten in over 30 years.” The county has grown tremendously since then and many of the zoning codes have now become outdated and redundant. So, after a great deal of work, the County Council adopted these these zoning code changes on March 5, 2014.
