On Tuesday, the board of directors said hello and good-bye to some outstanding folks in our community.
With hearts full of gratitude for their years of devotion to Friends of White Flint, we said good-bye to board members Chad Salganik (resident) and David Freishtat (business member) whose terms expired. We will be forever grateful for the service of these wonderful board members.
There were so many excellent candidates for the board that it was quite difficult to choose only three new board members. In fact the board was so impressed by the outstanding nominees for the one open resident spot that we created a new position of Neighborhood Ambassador so that Friends … and our community … could benefit from the expertise of these candidates. (More about our new Neighborhood Ambassador program after the holidays.)
We say hello and congratulations to our three new board members: Lee Greenberg, owner of Izes Deli and Bagelry; Tim Dugan, attorney at Shulman Rogers; and Lindsay McGarity, resident of Garrett Park Estates. We are thrilled you have joined the board of directors for Friends of White Flint.
