Some of us who are local residents (who live on Edson Lane and Strand Drive) are wondering about whether there any updated plans for rebuilding the area where the former White Flint Mall used to be (which is now completely demolished and leveled) – particularly, if/when new construction will begin on a planned project to develop this area. The only store left there is Lord & Taylor, which I understood, from reading an article in The Washington Post, that Lord & Taylor was in litigation with the Lerner Corp. over leasing of the land. Thank you for any news you may have about when construction might begin.
